When we first employed colleagues from other parts of the Netherlands we opened  offices near their homes and provided ways to work remotely.

Now we enter a new phase as the number of large accounts keeps growing and the demand for 24x7 support is always increasing in this 24 hour economy.

So, to correct the work-life balance once more, we are moving away from nightly standby shifts.

And, we are in the middle of implementing a follow the sun setup in which we can provide local support for our customers from inspiring locations.

This means we are looking for new local and global colleagues!

SUPPORT CANADA & AUSTRALIA


In line with our follow-the-sun model, we are looking for remote workers located both in Canada and Australia. 

Starware specialises in software solutions (JDA WMS) for the Logistics and Supply Chain Industry.

As a WMS Application Support Specialist, you will take care of the software maintenance and support for our large accounts.

In this role you will work on different projects with well-known companies. You will have a chance to develop your IT skills in a dynamic and changing environment, and the chance to do it from your prefered workplace: the local coffee shop, the comfort of your home, the beach? You name it!



YOUR MAIN TASKS


  • Provide support

    for large accounts, including handover and Go-live support

  • Setup support

    & monitoring tools to prevent, spot & resolve future incidents quickly

  • Play a role

    in release management of new functionalities

  • Find root causes

    and define new functionalities to prevent repeating of future issues



AND YOU HAVE…


  • Curiosity

    and you keep up with the latest technologies

  • logistical

    process knowledge

  • Passion

    for support work

  • International focus

    you are fluent in English. Bonus if you speak Dutch & German, too

  • good writing skills

    and love sharing knowledge with customers and co-workers

  • Devops

    interest and SQL knowledge

  • IT background

    databases knowledge, Microsoft programming Language stack, and preferably WMS software
